Total Fire Ban days
Total Fire Ban days relate to specific zones in Victoria and are declared by the Country Fire Authority.
This means that the following cannot be used or lit in the declared areas:

Fire restriction period
The Country Fire Authority look at the conditions to decide when the fire restriction period or fire danger period should apply.
Apply for a permit to burn
You will need to apply online to obtain a Permit to Burn. You cannot undertake a burn until your application is approved. This is for any burning off throughout the year.
