Apply for a building permit
You can lodge your application for a building permit at any of our Customer Service Centres or by post.
You will need to:
- complete a building permit application form
- provide documents and plans in relation to these works - see the checklist of requirements
- make payment for this application.

- or in person: at any City of Greater Geelong customer service centres.
Building permit/inspection fees are calculated on your total cost of building works/scope of works and will include government levies.
Payment can be made using cash cheque EFTPOS postal order or credit card.
