Apply to enrol as a non-residential owner ratepayer
You may enrol to vote in our council elections if you own property within our municipality while living elsewhere.
It may be possible that you are already enrolled as a non-residential owner. You can check your Victorian Electoral Commission enrolment first.
To be eligible to be on the voters’ roll as a non-residential owner ratepayer you must:
- be at least 18 years of age by the election day
- be an owner of rateable property in the City of Greater Geelong municipality and
- not be enrolled as a resident of the City of Greater Geelong on the State electoral roll.
Please note: this enrolment remains in force as long as you own this property or don’t otherwise become enrolled as a resident on the State roll in City of Greater Geelong municipality. You may resign this enrolment by application to the City.
