These awards also help to promote ‘An inclusive diverse healthy and socially connected community’ which is a community-led aspiration outlined in our Access and Inclusion Plan 2018-2022.
Life has thrown Justine Martin many challenges.
Having been told that she would never work again after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis three primary cancers and a long list of serious medical conditions Justine is still here fighting and making a difference in the lives of those around her.
Rather than allowing her hardship to overcome her Justine has used it as a platform to inspire and make a difference in the lives of others. She is a published author runs a Resilience Consulting business and is an award-winning professional artist who provides art wellness classes for other people with disability.
Justine reaches people through her business and through online communities to give both herself and those around her a vision and purpose for the future – it’s why she does what she does.
Justine uses her own experiences of living with a disability to encourage others to take steps towards a positive future of their own by finding hope overcoming adversity and building resilience.
