Principal Bicycle Network
The Principal Bicycle Network will provide cyclists with safe, accessible, and connected cycling routes within Geelong.
We have mapped a Principal Bicycle Network (PBN) that will provide safe spaces for cyclists of all levels of abilities and ages.
The network aims to deliver people to services education retail and employment precincts. This will result in a connected network for all forms of cycling.
Included in the map are Strategic Cycling Corridors. These corridors provide links to major destinations and employment precincts where we want to target investment.
Ongoing improvements to the network should see more people take up cycling which has great health and environmental benefits.
