We request nature volunteers and group leaders complete an online induction. This induction will step you through the safety requirements of running or attending activities on City-owned land.
To undertake an induction complete Step 1 and Step 2 in our induction portal (see button below).
- Step 1 is the registration
- Step 2 is the induction.
We require at least one group member to complete this induction prior to conducting activities on City-owned land. The induction is available to all members of registered nature volunteer groups.
What will the induction cover
The induction will cover the following topics:
- responsibilities during the planning and delivery of a nature volunteer activity
- processes groups must follow when delivering an activity on City-owned land
- tools and resources available to assist group leaders to deliver safe activities.
How will the inductions be delivered?
Group leaders and members are able to complete an individual online induction at any time or they can request a face-to-face induction for the whole group to attend.
