Councillor expenses
The Council Expenses Policy was adopted by Council on 1 September 2020, in accordance with the Local Government Act 2020.
A copy of the policy can be found at the bottom of this page.
The policy describes the assistance and support the City will provide to the Mayor and Councillors to perform their role such as:
- out-of-pocket expenses that can be funded or reimbursed by the City
- out-of-pocket expenses the City will not meet
- the resources and facilities the City will make available.
Reporting
Quarterly councillor expense reports will be published on our website in a format consistent with the requirements of the Local Government (Performance & Reporting) Regulations 2020.
