Introduction

  1. Nature of Rules

    These are the Governance Rules of Greater Geelong City Council made in accordance with section 60 of the Local Government Act 2020.

  2. Date of Commencement

    These Governance Rules commence on 1 September 2020.

  4. Definitions

    In these Governance Rules unless the context suggests otherwise the following words and phrases mean:

    Act means the Local Government Act 2020.

    Chief Executive Officer includes an Acting Chief Executive Officer.
