An event is an organised activity held on public open space  a facility or venue  a road reserve or temporary structure is to be used by more people than are usually found in that location.

If your event fits this definition and you are planning to hold the event on council controlled or managed land open public space then you will need to apply for an Event Permit from the City of Greater Geelong.
