You only need to enrol once to vote at Federal, State and Local Council elections.
To enrol complete the online enrolment form on the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) website. Paper enrolment forms are available from the AEC.

When you move house, you need to change your details on the State and Federal electoral rolls.
