Eastern Park

The Geelong Botanic Gardens is located near the Geelong Waterfront. This map shows where the gardens are located in Eastern Park and includes parking options.

  • Geelong Botanic Gardens is close to the Geelong Waterfront within Eastern Park. Please see our visitor map.  The gardens are within walking distance of Geelong train station. Take a stroll along the watefront. If using GPS the gardens entrance is at the intersection of Podbury Drive and Eastern Park Circuit
  • Our carpark entrance is off Eastern Park Circuit near Podbury Drive.  We have disabled carparks and a bus drop off area near the entrance. You can also park along Eastern Park Circuit and walk to the Botanic Gardens. Other places you can park are shown on our visitor maps.
  • Arriving by car There is a disabled car park at the entrance to the gardens on Eastern Park Circuit near the Podbury Drive intersection. There is a ramp to access the main entrance gate. Garden paths People in wheelchairs or with prams can access some parts of the gardens. Some paths are asphalt and relatively easy grades.  Other paths are not as accessible as they have steps. Some paths are gravel which you may need assistance with.
  • Dogs are welcome at the gardens but need to on a lead and supervised at all times. Please do the following: pick up the poo bring water for your dog.
  • The Botanic Gardens café is temporarily closed until further notice.
