Our risks and hazards
Our municipality has a number of risks and hazards associated with the mix of rural, urban and industrial landscape.
We have undertaken a Community Emergency Risk Assessment (CERA) in conjunction with various emergency services.
Our risks have been identified as:
- bushfire
- building fire
- earthquake
- landslip
- severe weather
- heatwave
- drought
- coastal inundation
- flood
- transport accident
- human epidemic
- mass gatherings / events.
