The Cowies Creek Environmental Loop features 16 points of interest including the remnant Red River Gum tree which is over 120 years old. Discover a rich diversity of trees including Silver Wattle Golden Wattle Moonah Tree and Yellow Gum.

The area provides natural habitat for many species of plants and grass and was a valuable resource of fresh water food and medicine for the Wadawurrung people.
