Refugee Week 2022: Mutheinchri Ra

Healing is different for everyone. For me healing is a journey and it requires me to be patient and kind to myself.

Healing is when I’m in touch with my inner self when I know myself more know what triggers me aware of my feelings and knows how to prevent it from ruining my own day or my interaction with other people around me.

Healing is to fall in love with myself being patient and kind toward myself and accepting every part about myself.

Sometimes my go to therapy is painting and listening to my playlist. It helps me to slow down and at the same time to get lost in the moment and be taken a step back from my current overwhelming situation.

One thing that I love most about living in Geelong is that it is close to the beach You Yangs and beautiful walking trails. Because whenever I feel stuffy I just need to go out in the nature in the open space to recharge and feel better.
