Building career pathways and giving students an opportunity to gain experience in our workplace as well as exposure to the career options and position types available enables us to increase and diversify our workforce whilst supporting our community.
Types of student placements
We support the following student work experience placements:
- Secondary work experience
- Structured workplace learning (SWL)
- School based apprenticeships and traineeships (SBAT)
- Apprenticeships and Traineeships
- Registered Training Organisation (RTO) placements
- Professional Experience Placements
- Internships or Work Integrated Learning (WIL)
- Graduate Development Program

Placement opportunities are dependent on business capacity and availability to host a student.
Secondary Work Experience and Structured Workplace Learning placements are supported by Geelong Region Local Learning and Employment Network. Schools will be notified of opportunities for students to express their interest and register with Geelong Region Local Learning and Employment Network.
