Councillors want to hear from community members to engage on important matters to contribute to informed decision-making in the Chamber.
An allocation of 45 minutes is made for Public Question and Submission Time so there is appropriate time for Councillors to consider the agenda items.

Councillor Stephanie Asher - Mayor
The current lockdown in regional Victoria means we can’t have our normal public gallery attendance but there are still plenty of ways to have your say.
As part of Council’s commitment to good governance and in response to the need to hold another fully virtual meeting we’re providing greater opportunities for community members to engage during meetings.
A full transcript of all the questions and answers will be published on our public questions and submissions page prior to the Council meeting.
Public question time is a legislative requirement because it’s a key way for community members to engage with Council prior to a decision being made.
