Community Events Grants
There is a total grant pool of $180,000 for both Community Events and Quick Response Grants.
Grant amount
Grants of up to $10 000 are available to support moderate sized public events within the City of Greater Geelong municipality.
Who should apply?
Eligible applicants can apply for a grant for moderate sized events which support a diverse and inclusive annual calendar of events generate economic impact through increased spend for the region businesses and supporting key industries and support event growth and long-term sustainability.
Examples include:
- business events such as conferences and expos
- food and wine events
- regional state or national championships and competitions hosted at Geelong venues
- events showcasing local industries and Geelongs competitive advantage
