Our Community Grants help turn your idea into reality.

They support projects, programs, activities and events that respond to a community need, and will improve the health, wellbeing and capacity of our community.

Artists and Creatives Professional Development Grants
A limited amount of funding annually is available for Artists and Creatives Professional Development Grants. 
Arts Project Grants
There is a total grant pool of $200,000 available to fund the City's arts grants.
Arts Projects Quick Response Grants
A limited amount of funding annually is available for a Quick Response Grant when there is a compelling justification for support.
Bis-Sport funding
This small grant fund is for individual sports people who are participating in regional, state and national sporting events or competitions.
Children’s Week Grants
There is a total grant pool of $10,000 available plus free promotion of Children's Week activities/events on offer.
Christmas in the Community Grants
This is an invitation only grant to the 14 DHHS recognised Neighbourhood Houses that operate in the City of Greater Geelong.  There is a total grant pool of $40,000.
Climate Change Partnership Grants
There is a total grant pool of $130,000.
Community Events Grants
There is a total grant pool of $180,000 for both Community Events and Quick Response Grants.

There is a total grant pool of $2.7 million.
Community Infrastructure Grants - Exemption from Match-funding
Community groups can apply for exemption from match-funding for Community Infrastructure Grants.
COVID-19 Community Recovery Grants - round two
The community recovery grants are designed to fund activities that will help community groups, clubs, and organisations to recover from the changes caused by the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). There is a total remaining grant pool of $65,000.

This Girl Can 2020 Small Grants Program
The City is pleased to support the 'This Girl Can' program. The program aims to celebrate and support Victorian women and girls embracing physical activity.
