Our Annual Report provides an update to our community of our performance during the past 12 months.
Local Government Performance Reporting Framework Indicators
The Local Government Performance Reporting Framework (LGPRF) is a mandatory system developed by Local Government Victoria (LGV) to ensure all Victorian Councils are measuring and reporting their performance in a consistent way.
We use our annual report to report our performance each financial year in a transparent and accountable way.
It also gives an update on our progress towards achieving council plan actions.

Report reveals impact of major event cancellations
Figures presented to the Greater Geelong council during Tuesday night’s meeting have highlighted the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our region’s events sector.The Geelong Major Events Committee’s annual report shows that seven sponsored events were able to go ahead during the 2020-21 financial year generating an estimated $9.2 million in economic activity.
