Excursion to City Hall - Years 3-4
The excursion to City Hall is designed to meet the aims of the Victorian curriculum, Civics and Citizenship.
The City Hall excursion for students in years 3 and 4 will assist students to understand:
- The role of local government and some services performed by local government.
- How and why decisions are made democratically in communities.
- Distinction between rules and laws.
- How people participate in the community as active citizens.
