The City Hall excursion for students in years 5 and 6  will assist students to understand:

• The roles and responsibilities of the three levels of government.
• Values principles and institutions that underpin Australia’s democratic forms of government.
• Role of parliaments in creating law.
• What it means to be an Australian citizen.
• Ways people can participate in groups to achieve shared goals.
