Futsal (indoor soccer) is very popular in Geelong, in particular here at the Leisuretime Sports Precinct.
Leisuretime is home to Futsal Geelong programs and competitions.
We have a range of indoor futsal courts ranging from standard 30 by 15 metre courts up to full international standard courts for higher-level competitions. We also have two modified outdoor street soccer/futsal courts available each with a synthetic all weather surface and floodlights.
The Futsal Summer Leagues kick off from October - March and Winter seasons from in April - September. Our aim with Futsal is to try and have something available for players of all ages and abilities:
| Little Kickers Geelong: | Operate a range of fun learning and development soccer/programs at various times/days each week during school terms for children aged from 18 months up to their 7th birthday. |
| Junior Leagues: | Age groups for summer futsal leagues are still being confirmed along with court availability for the Summer Leagues in 2021 (proposed to commence Nov 2021). |
| Womens Futsal Program/League: | Currently on hold due to indoor court availability and staff/referee availability. Monday nights at Leisuretime is dedicated to female futsal participation with games and programs commencing from approx. 6:30pm each week. The womens social league is aimed at those players who are looking to play in a more social game weekly or who have not had much experience with either soccer or futsal previously. Its also a great way for those that have had a break from the game after having children and young family commitments to get back into the game. The league also runs alongside a fun female futsal program which is another social futsal program that is perfect for individuals without a team to come and learn the basics of the game and also get involved with modified games on the night which help all involved better understand the game the rule and basic skills of the game. Some of players that have been involved with the fun female futsal program have also enjoyed their experience so much and made new friends that they now have formed a team and play in the social league each week which is great to see. |
| All-Abilities Futsal: | This program offered Saturday mornings for people with a disability aged 12 years and up. Sessions are fun easy and all inclusive futsal. We have the ability for groups individuals to hire Futsal courts at the venue during peak and off-peak times (subject to availability). Bookings are essential and should be made in advance. This can be done using our online booking system.
