There is ample free parking surrounding the site on market days and regular public transport services stopping directly out the front of the site.
There are also many popular walking and cycling paths to and from the venue along the picturesque Barwon River as well as the Criterium Cycling track that surrounds the site in the Belmont Common area. We have onsite facilities for bikes to be secured while also visiting the market.
When driving to the Belmont Market from the Geelong CBD or from Melbourne you need to cross the Barwon River. The Princes Highway (over the James Harrison Bridge) will go past the market area which you will then need to take the first right hand turn at the light onto Barwon Heads Road.
Another way to get there is along the old route using Moorabool Street which then becomes High Street on the Belmont side of the river.
The Belmont Market is located near K-Mart in Belmont. Kardinia Park or GMHBA Stadium as its also known where the AFLs Geelong Cats play is just 1.2 kilometres from the market area.
