Refunds and cancellations for Belmont Market days
The Belmont Market does not offer refunds for site cancellations or ‘no-shows’ on market days.

All bookings are considered final under the following conditions:

  • Online casuals are considered final once payment is made and confirmation has been sent.
  • Permanent stallholders are considered final once market site has been entered.
  • Food and beverage stalls amusement and attraction stalls and other application required stalls are considered final once booking confirmation has been sent to vendor.

Although refunds are not offered stallholders can request to have their booking transferred to an alternative date under the following conditions:

  • The request for transfer must be made prior to 4:00pm the Friday before the booking by means of calling the venue on 03 5243 7718 or via email belmontmarket@geelongcity.vic.gov.au
  • Not all requests will be approved and any requests received outside this time period will not be considered with the payment forfeited.
  • If you transfer your booking to another date we will only transfer your booking once.
  • ‘No-shows’ on the day will not have their booking transferred or refunded.

Stallholders must accept that inclement weather is a risk and therefore no refunds or credits will be made as a result of such. In the event of continuous adverse conditions traders must decide if they wish to continue to trade.

If stallholders opt to leave the market they must vacate the site by 8:00am.

If stallholders opt to continue to trade they must remain until 1:00pm unless advised otherwise by Belmont Market staff.
