Relocations and double bookings at Belmont Market
Belmont Market staff reserve the right to relocate any stallholder at any time without providing a reason, irrespective of the reasoning behind specific booking.
In the event of a decision to relocate a stall(s) Belmont Market staff will consider the impact to those involved and communicate the changes as soon as possible.
In the event of a double booking by fault of the City or stallholder(s) the following actions apply:
- No refunds will be offered if an opportunity to relocate the stall(s) is available on the market day.
- Belmont Market staff will attempt to resolve the double booking with the endeavour of affecting as little stallholders as possible.
- Belmont Market staff will give priority to the correct / proven first bookie of the stall which has been double booked unless a safer/more logical/less impactful solution can be found.
- Final decisions on relocations due to double bookings must be made prior to 8:00am and vehicle movement parameters apply.
Stallholders may seek to relocate their stall to an alternative empty stall during market operating hours – the follow conditions apply:
- All relocations must be approved by Belmont Market staff prior to commencement
- Stallholders may be required to pay the difference between stall fees.
- If relocating to a stall that is cheaper than the original stall the stallholder must accept the loss of additional costs.
- All vehicle movement and other market rules must be adhered to at all times.
