The Geelong Arena has a range of facilities for hire delivering great experiences for all. We are the regions largest indoor sport and entertainment venue.

Auditorium

Suitability: The Arena’s Auditorium has the ability to host functions or gala events for between 500 – 1500 guests. It can accommodate in excess of 2000 patrons in concert conference or sport mode with access to our Green Room and change rooms. Concerts recently held at the Arena include Kris Kristofferson Human Nature Suzi Quatro Jessica Mauboy Celtic Thunder  RUFUS Amity Affliction and Justice Crew. theatre production at the Arena
Capacity: • Theatre style – 1500 reserved tiered seats capacity can be expanded to up to 2200 considering portable seats and/or standing room options.

Annex

Suitability: The Arena Annex comprising of three full size basketball courts is a versatile space. Transformed this space can cater for up to 1200 patrons on request for conventions expos and sports events.

Court hire

The Arena courts are available for casual hire. All courts have permanent basketball lines one with netball lines and netball post holes for all courts with temporary line marking available upon request. Our Annex stadium with three full sized basketball courts is available for school or group hire with entry via Baxter road foyer. Our show court is also available upon special request or used to manage exclusive areas. Our operating hours for group court hire are: a trade show at the Geelong Arena

Suitability: The Geelong Arena’s Function Room provides quality dining and bar facilities for groups of any size up to 200. Ideal for both private and commercial functions. The arena function room

The Geelong Arena offers catering for all functions and events bookings including:
