Access cards
Permit holders will be issued with an Access Card. By holding the card in front of the card reader machines permit holders will be able to enter and exit the car park automatically.
Permit holders are required to present their Access Card at the card reader machines as follows:
- entering the car park
- entering the permit holder area
- exiting the permit holder area
- exiting the car park on the ground level.
Failure to present your access card whilst entering and exiting the permit holder area will result in your access card not being correctly validated and will not allow you to exit the car park on the ground level.

Parking spaces
Parking for permit holders is available on the top three levels along with a number or Reserved permit bays on level one.
Permit holder payment options
You can pay by a number of methods:
- at any of our Customer Service Centres
- BPAY
- online using our Online Payments Service
- by mailing your payment to us
- by payroll deduction if you are a Council Employee
Waiting lists
Waiting times can vary at the Civic Centre Car Park for a permanent parking space.
Vehicle security
As with other car parks patrons park at their own risk and owner onus applies.
We cannot guarantee the security of individual vehicles or belongings.
