COVID-19 policies and procedures

Policies and procedures have been developed to provide a framework for areas of our business impacted by coronavirus. 

Some of the policies developed in 2020 are now being updated. 

COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Management Policy

The purpose of this policy is to provide the guiding principles that will help the City meet its occupational health and safety obligations by either eliminating or reducing as far as is reasonably practicable the incidence of the risk of the COVID-19 virus being contracted or transmitted by Employees of the City of Greater Geelong (the City) in the course of their duties.

Leave Without Pay Management Policy

The purpose of this policy is provide a mechanism for an employee to take a pre-determined period of authorised unpaid leave. It incorporates special circumstances provisions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
