Access and Inclusion Plan 2018-2022
Our Access and Inclusion Plan (2018–2022) provides information on ways that the City continues to work on building an accessible and inclusive community for all.
The Plan is framed around the four key priority areas Access Inclusion and Participation Employment and Inclusive Attitudes.
Specific actions strategies and initiatives are developed annually for each priority are and considers ways of improving access to buildings roads footpaths employment opportunities community events and community perceptions.

The Access and Inclusion Plan 2018-2022 has been extended to include 2023. Development of the 2024-2028 plan is currently underway.
Wheelchair accessible taxis
Geelong Taxi Network has 30 wheelchair accessible taxis that cover Geelong, Torquay and the Bellarine Peninsula.
Access and inclusion advisory committee
The Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee to the City of Greater Geelong plays a key role providing advice on universal access and inclusion for all.
