Vehicle Crossings Preferred Layout
Note 4 in the Design Notes series covering the preferred vehicle crossing layout, issued in August 2012.

Consultants and contractors are advised that the City of Greater Geelong (CoGG) has adopted the preferred vehicle crossing layout shown in the sketch below.

Vehicle crossings shall generally be constructed as single vehicle crossings. Where crossings are located on either side of a property boundary they shall be constructed as two separate Single Crossings - the layout shall be as per that shown as Adjacent Vehicle Crossings.

This advice is to be read in conjunction with the current version of the Infrastructure Design Manual. See standard drawings No.s 205 to 265 for construction details.

This advice is effective after 15 AugustĀ 2012 and vehicle crossings constructed after this date shall be of this preferred style unless otherwise approved.
