We have developed a series of walks so you can explore your neighbourhood on foot!
Choose the map you would like to walk:
- 3214: The Norman Lane Heritage Walk This walk starts and finishes at Labuan Square.
- 3214: The Corio Welcome Walk This walk starts at the Corio Shopping Centre and takes you through a part of the Corio Precinct.
- 3214: Karndoor-Kapa Track Walk respectfully along the Karndoor-Kapa Track.
- 3214: North Shore Walk This walk starts and finishes at the Moorpanyal Park.
- 3214: Cowies Creek Environmental Loop Discover the rich diversity of the native flora and the natural habitat it provides for many species of fauna.
- 3214: The Mindfulness Bay Walk Remember that this land is was and will always be the Wadawurrung Peoples traditional land.
- 3216: Grovedale Youth Walk Find places you can go to skate shop exercise play sport access medical help and most importantly hang out with your friends.
- 3216: Waurn Ponds Creek Walk The walk takes you on a journey along the creek and to discover the rich diversity of the native flora and fauna. It also explore how this area was a valuable resource of the Wadawurrung People.

- 3222: Lake Lorne Mindfulness Walk Use mindfulness techniques while enjoying this walk around Lake Lorne
- 3222: Griggs Creek - Gurnang Walk Take the walk from the entrance at Creekside Drive Curlewis and stroll toward the bay to take in the view of Wurdy Youang (You Yangs - small hills).
Being active pathways
Active transport’ is about how you get about by walking gopher wheelchair bicycle scooter and pram and includes journeys to public transport.
The City of Greater Geelong is working on connecting the cycle/walking paths around the municipality.

- For every kilometre we walk we save approximately 1 kilogram of carbon
- Walking is a lifelong activity that begins when we are toddlers
- Walking provides opportunities for social interactions
- Walking connects us to people and our environment.
