Belmont Common lights
Lights are available for use and hire at Belmont Common oval 2.

We aim to provide quality recreation reserves to support the ongoing success of the local sporting community and have installed sports lighting on the second oval at Belmont Common. This ground is available to local clubs via the Casual Booking Form.

 

Bookings

  • A Casual Hire Application form needs to be completed and submitted to our Recreation Liaison Officer for approval.

  • A booking is not confirmed or approved until a signed copy of the booking application is received & Public Liability Insurance provided.

Costs

  • Use of the Belmont Common at night during the Winter Season (1 April – 30 September) will incur a charge.

  • The fee will be $30 per hour incorporating the cost of power and maintenance of the floodlight facilities.

Key access

  • A club representative is required to pick up the keys from Barwon Valley Activity Centre (BVAC)  on the day of the booking and the keys must be returned the same night of the booking.  

  • Please bring photograph ID with you when collecting the key.

Terms and conditions 

  • This reserve will be allocated on a casual basis only. No seasonal bookings will be accepted.

  • Hire Fees will be invoiced at the end of each month.

  • The City reserves the right to cancel/re-schedule bookings at any time.

  • The City reserves the right to decline an application at our discretion.
