We manage the bookings for a number of halls within our municipality.

Listed below are the halls and venues we currently manage.

    About our halls
    With thanks to the Geelong Heritage Centre, we have compiled a brief history on several of our community halls.
    Committee-managed halls
    In addition to the halls which are managed by the City there are also several halls operated by independent committees.

    Hirers are advised that we may alter or extend these conditions of hire at any time without notice.
    Marcus Hill Memorial Hall
    Medium-sized hall located at Marcus Hill Reserve which is home to a number of local community groups and available for casual hire.
    Geelong West Town Hall

    Geelong West Town Hall is a large hall with two separate hire spaces, ideal for large functions as well as smaller meetings.

    Lara Hall
    Lara Hall is medium sized hall for functions up to 200 people in the main hall and has a separate meeting room.
    Mount Duneed Hall
    Very small hall ideal for meetings and children's party alongside BBQ and playground area. 
    Newcomb Hall
    Newcomb Hall is medium sized hall for functions up to 150 people in the main hall and has a separate meeting room.
    Portarlington Parks Hall
    Parks Hall includes a large civic hall for up to 350 patrons with two adjoining meeting/function rooms also available.
    St Leonards Reserve Hall
    St Leonards Reserve Hall is a medium sized hall suitable for bookings up to 100 patrons.
    Virginia Todd Hall
    The Virginia Todd Community Centre contains a small hall ideal for quieter activities such as yoga and children's programs.
    Wandana Heights Hall

    Located at Tim Hill Recreation Reserve, the Wandana Heights Hall services the local Tennis Club as well as providing a venue for community hire.
