An event organiser's tool kit
If you are planning an event in a public open space, an on site events tool kit will be an invaluable resource.
There are a number of items that should be considered at a minimum for an event organisers toolkit. These include:
- batteries
- cable ties and cutters
- clipboards
- copy of the Event Plan and Site Plan
- double adaptor and extension cords
- first aid kit
- gaffa tape (red black white) hazard tape and sticky tape
- pens pencils highlighters
- incident report forms
- matches or lighter
- lollies (to keep staff energised and happy)!
- measuring tape
- mobile phone charger/s
- mosquito repellent
- paper towel or wipes
- roll of garbage bags
- scissors
- sticky tape
- sun block
- torch with charged batteries.
- face masks
- hand sanitizer
